Twitter Money

Many books and training courses have been written about how to make money online. In this article we want to give you a duo of things to keep in mind that you must do when it comes to earning money on the Internet.

1. Be cautious about the guidance that you accept. It is very easy for a person to call themselves an specialist and take money from people who do not know any better.

You see this happen all the time! Someone makes a duo of sales and then decides that the market they are going to target is the how to make money market.

There certainly is nothing amiss with being in this market if you know what you’re talking about. However as an Internet marketing newbie yourself you need to be cautious about accepting guidance from someone who does not have the credentials to back it up.

If you are unsure about someone’s credentials go to several Internet marketing forums and ask about them. For instance you can go to the Warrior Forum and rapidly look out whether someone is genuine or not.

With social networking you can also make friends and see for yourself who is a good person to follow the direction of. One place to do this is with Twitter.com where you can build up a list of followers and watch their amends.

2. The second point we want to make is the majority of the time that you spend online every day should be marketing your business. I’ll even go one step further and say that you should spend a good portion of your time every day blogging.

Search engines love blogs and so do readers. There are many resources available online that can teach you how to blog prosperously. For instance ProBlogger.Net is one of the best website online for teaching people how to blog.

I would call this an authority site as the amount of content available to you, and the essence of the content, is incomparable. You can learn everything you need to make money online as a blogger just by following other accomplished bloggers hanging out at this site.

Blogging allows you to make money in niche writing about things you appreciate. It also allows you to produce a tremendous amount of free traffic over a long period of time. Therefore having a standard blog with high traffic is a magnificent way to sell products, sell advertising, and make money.

In summary this is two things you must do to make money online. Watch out who you accept guidance from, learn how to blog, and become a specialist at it.

So I have about 35 followers and I always tweet stuff like "what is everyone up to today?" and even send some direct messages but no one ever answers me, even if the message is asking something direct. Is this because they’re spam and only respond if my tweet mentions something specific? How can I get rid of the spam followers? It upsets me that people are following me if all they want is to sell their crap to me. I thought the purpose of Twitter was to keep up with friends.

They may be spam bots but it depends on how active they are; if they come on Twitter once a week or so, you probably won’t be getting a reply. Or, if they’re still trying to figure it out (AKA n00bs). Well you say you have 35 followers, have you ever tried clicking the number and actually LOOKED at your followers? You can easily detect a spam bot from an actual person; if you would like to get rid of them, click on their profile, look on the left side of their profile and click on "block username", this prevents them from having contact with you.

Lately however, Twitter has increased it’s security; most of the spam bot’s accounts will be deleted within a week. The only downfall is that they keep coming back! All I can say is, just keep blocking them.

If you would like someone to talk to, @reply to me anytime; I answer all tweets and I like to try and actually converse with people. :)

Happy tweeting!

I recently just released an eBook that I wrote on how to cure acne naturally and I want to get followers on Twitter to buy my book. How do I go about doing this? I have about 5,000 followers, but I have only had one sale for my product come from Twitter. Should I even bother with Twitter then?

Trying to get sale conversions on your products with Twitter is not that easy. It all depends on who is following you on Twitter, if they see your tweets, if they are intrigued enough to click through to your website, and if they have money for your product. That is a lot of ifs.

If I were you, I would put my focus on other promotion techniques that are known to work. Things like article marketing is a good start. Or maybe look for natural cure forums where you can put your signature for your eBook in your posts. If you were able to write the eBook, then you most likely you can write a few articles and post them on article directory sites to get traffic to your website. Just be sure to use the proper keywords so that people come across your articles when they are searching for a product like yours.

Also, be sure that your website or landing page sounds professional and really sells your product so that you can get more conversions. Lastly, set up an opt-in email list on your website because most people will not buy the product the first time they come across it, but it may take up to 3 or 4 more times seeing the product for them to finally decide to buy it.

If you want more info, I learned a lot about social media and promoting my products from this guy named Matt Bacak. His website is www.mattbacak.com. You will find everything you need on his site or even invest in a subscription of his newsletter.

This is a complete serious question, and when you answer, please say if you are a parent or a teen.

I am a teen, and like most teens I have a myspace that I made years ago. After about a year of having it, my mother made one so she could check up on me. I am now almost 17 years old, and she quotes things I have on my myspace or asks about the people that comment me. I can’t say what I want on there because she’ll read it, and question me about it. I decided to make a facebook a few months ago. She made one, and friend requested me. I ignored her, and she just told me that if I don’t accept her, she’ll block facebook. I have exactly 34 friends on facebook. I don’t see why she needs to check up on every webpage I’m on. I am a very good kid, I hang around a good crowd, get good grades, i’m not rebellious, etc.

Do you think it’s okay that she’s checking my myspace and facebook all the time or do you think I need my privacy? Oh, and how can I convince her to lay off my myspace and that I don’t need to accept her on facebook?

**Bonus that you don’t have to read:
Because I never have privacy on the internet, I have made a youtube, twitter, blog, tumblr and deviantart all that she doesn’t know about because I desperately want my privacy with something.

yeah my friend had that happen to her so she accepeted her parent & made another account & only uses the second one
